This is an Application Form for Admission and does not constitute an offer of a place, implied or otherwise. Use of the word Applicant' throughout this Application Form refers to the person applying for Admission, and does not imply that the person on whose behalf this application is being made is regarded as having been accepted as a student of Coláiste Iognáid. Applicants will be notified in writing of the status of their application within 21 days of the closing date for completed applications. On receipt of an offer, Parents/Guardians will be asked to further complete an Enrolment Form and submit it along with supporting documentation by the deadline date specified in the offer letter.
Should any information supplied on this application form be invalid or become invalid, it is the responsibility of Parents/Guardians to contact the School Office immediately in writing and provide information needed to update the application. Failure to do so may render an application invalid, and may result in the applicant being refused admission to the school, or may result in a later decision to enrol the applicant being revoked.

Applicants should read the school's Admission Policy, Admissions Policy, prior to completing this application form. The information requested on this application form is required in order to process your application for admission to the school. The information provided by you will be treated confidentially and processed in line with the schools Admission policy.
Any personal data provided on this form will be used to:

This information will assist us in determining whether the applicant meets the admission requirements in accordance with the order of priority as set out on page 4 of the Admission Policy 2026-2027 for Coláiste Iognáid.
Coláiste Iognáid has two classes sanctioned by the Department of Education for students on the Autism Spectrum. A report indicating assessment and classification of an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) by a Psychiatrist or Clinical Psychologist must be submitted with the Application Form. The report must include a recommendation by the professionals that a placement in an ASD class in a mainstream school is appropriate for the student.
