Fees and Payment (IMPORTANT!)

The VHDA requires all members to pay a $25 membership fee, and a $50 volunteer deposit fee. The volunteer deposit fee will be reimbursed AFTER you, or someone associated with your membership (family member), have completed one volunteer shift at any VHDA event. The $50 volunteer deposit is not requited for adult dancers. As per ScotDance BC rules, ScotDance BC has agreed that in the best interest of adult dancers’ well-being, an exemption from performing volunteer hours and providing a volunteer deposit fee with any competition organiser must be made. This applies to any CO that requires volunteer deposits and family/dancer volunteers. SDBC acknowledges that these competitors have spent many years providing volunteer hours and should not be required to come early to an event to volunteer prior to competing or stay late after competing.Some adult dancers may be living away from home and may not have a family member available nearby to provide family volunteer hours. *Any dancer who wishes to volunteer, of course, is more than welcome to do so. If you are an adult dancer please put the coupon code ADULT to have your volunteer deposit waived.
