RULES & REGULATIONS APPLICATION INFORMATION
Please read through all the items listed below carefully. Applicants MUST initial, sign and date at the end and agree to ALL in order to be considered for the Winter Faire & Marketplace.
Location
The Winter Faire & Marketplace will be held Downtown, Palisade. Please note that the event will not take place at the Old Palisade High School Gym. This is an outdoor market, and temperatures may vary throughout the day. It may be cold, so we encourage attendees and vendors to dress appropriately for the weather.
Authorized vendors may begin setup at Saturday, December 6th between 8:00 AM and 9:30 AM. Tear-down will occur between 4:00 PM and 5:15 PM. No vehicles will be allowed in the market area between 10:00 AM. and 4:00 PM. All vendors MUST be set up and ready for business by 9:45 AM. No late arrivals will be allowed.
Booth Information
Booth sizes are listed with fees. Electricity is available for perimeter booths on a first-come, first-served basis. Vendors are responsible for providing all necessary booth items, including tables, chairs, and decorations. Vendors must provide their own size-appropriate pop-up tents, weights, and display materials. Vendors
using electricity are responsible for covering and securing all extension cords to prevent tripping hazards. I understand that decorating my booth is encouraged and that my decorations, shade awnings, "guy wires," and trailer tongues may only extend no more than one (1) foot beyond my assigned space. I understand that open flames underneath tents are not permitted (special permitting may be required).
Alcohol, tobacco products or paraphernalia, and laser lights: I understand that under no circumstances are the following items to be sold alcohol, tobacco products or paraphernalia, or laser lights. NO SMOKING ON FESTIVAL GROUNDS.
Food Vendors
A Colorado Health Department Food Service License/ID is required to serve the public. In order to participate as a food vendor at Palisade's 2025 Winter Faire & Marketplace you must be an Approved Food Vendor through Mesa County and a copy of your 2025 Certificate must be displayed in your booth. Health inspectors will be on-site during the event. Food vendors are responsible for their own power source. Generators shall be run-quiet, suitcase style and have a decibel rating of less than 80. Mounting the generator to the food truck is preferred, however unattached generators are allowed provided they are placed in a manner as to prevent a hazard. All extension cords shall be covered with anti-trip hazard protection devices.
Proof of Insurance
All vendors must provide proof of insurance, listing the Palisade Chamber of Commerce as an additional insured.
Set-Up & Tear-Down
Set-up is scheduled for Saturday, December 6th, between 8:00 AM and 9:30 AM. Tear-down will occur between 4:00 PM and 5:15 PM. Please do not tear-down early. The marketplace opens promptly at 10:00 AM, and all vendors must be signed in and ready by that time. Late arrivals will not be allowed.
Release
By participating, vendors agree to waive any rights to photos or images taken during the 2025 Palisade Winter Faire & Marketplace.
Sales Tax
Vendors are responsible for paying applicable sales taxes to the State of Colorado. The Palisade Chamber of Commerce and other entities will not collect sales taxes on behalf of vendors. Vendor information will be reported to the Colorado Department of Revenue. For Profit Businesses must submit a State of Colorado Sales Tax License with their application for consideration of acceptance. Tax Exempt businesses must submit their State of Colorado Tax Exempt Certificate with their application for consideration.
Business License
Participants must hold a Town of Palisade Business License to do business within the Town of Palisade. Applicants who do not currently have a license to do business within the Town of Palisade must complete this form and submit to the Town of Palisade to receive their business license. Fee for a one time event is $10. Annual fee is $50.
Trash
Vendors are required to keep their booth area free of trash and debris throughout the event. Vendors shall keep their area clean and leave it clean when closing for the day. Failure to keep your area clean shall result in vendor termination.
Disclaimer
I will submit my payment in full at time of application via square using JotForm (the online vendor application).
I hereby apply for booth rental at the 2025 Palisade Winter Faire. I have read this packet in its entirety and understand all provisions. I understand and comply with the conditions set forth and agree to the rules and regulations of the 2025 Winter Faire and the codes and laws of the Town of Palisade. I understand I will be immediately removed from the Winter Faire without a refund if I violate any rules or regulations. I release and hold harmless the Palisade Chamber of Commerce, the Town of Palisade, and associated entities from all liability including, but not limited to, theft, personal injury, death to persons, or damage to property resulting from acts or omissions by any vendor, its agents or employees, and natural disaster. I understand that this application does not guarantee a space at the Winter Faire and that my money will be refunded if not selected. I understand that acceptance to the Winter Faire does not guarantee minimum sales.
