APPLICATION FOR TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE GRANT PROGRAM
City of Tampa & Tampa Bay Women’s Business Centre

The Tampa Bay Women’s Business Centre, in partnership with the City of Tampa, is offering a 20-hour Technical Assistance Grant Program designed to help entrepreneurs strengthen the foundation of their business.

Through this program, eligible participants will be paired with a business coach (new clients will be matched with a coach) to receive 20 hours of one-on-one business coaching tailored to help you launch, grow, or pivot your business.

Coaching sessions will be conducted virtually via Zoom or Google Meet for your convenience.

To participate, you must complete a Self-Certification form to verify eligibility. A total of 30 grants are available, and awards will be made on a first-come, first-served basis.

OUR SERVICES:

The Tampa Bay Women's Business Centre helps entrepreneurs with all stages of their business through one-on-one free business coaching, networking, and educational programming including webinars and in-person events.

If you are brand new and have not yet registered your business, our coaching team can help! We can assist you with a business plan, registration, and other start-up fundamentals.

If you are an established business and are looking for coaching sessions and education to further your business, we can help with that as well!

OUR SERVICE AREA:

We serve the following counties: Hillsborough, Hernando, Pinellas, Polk, Pasco, and Manatee County.

CITY OF TAMPA REQUIREMENTS FOR $1,000 GRANT UPON SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF PROGRAM:

The City of Tampa is partnering with the Tampa Bay Women's Business Centre Startup Academy to provide fifteen (15) $1,000 grants to Microenterprise businesses that meet each of the following criteria:
1. Home or business address is within the City of Tampa.
2. The business is considered a Microenterprise (of 5 or less employees including yourself).
3. Household income is at or below 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI). (Identification & Income verification will be required!)
