Hike Preparation

All Summit Seekers will have a 6-month window from December 2025 through June 2026 to prepare both mentally and physically for this difficult hike on Saturday 6/13. Fundraising Experience
Each Summit Seeker commits to raise a minimum of $1,000 by June 26, 2026, to help send a deserving childhood cancer survivor to Camp Casco 2026.

Summit Seekers who go above and beyond in their fundraising efforts will have the opportunity to earn complimentary lodging at Joe Dodge Lodge with our Camp Champions on Friday 6/12 and/or Saturday 6/13. JDL provides warm showers, delicious meals, cozy beds, and the special camaraderie that only comes with being able to relax around the fire and unwind together.

Summit Seekers who raise at least $1,500 will be eligible to receive 1 night of lodging at Joe Dodge Lodge, and Summit Seekers who raise at least $2,000 will be eligible to receive 2 nights of lodging. At least 50% of that commitment must be raised by March 26, 2026, in order to secure your lodging. Summit Seekers who commit to a $1,000 goal, or who do not reach at least 50% of their commitment by March 26, will be responsible for providing their own lodging before and after the hike.
