Marriott Welding Tuition Scholarship

Thanks to the generous support of the J. Marriott and Alice S. Marriott Foundation, adult welding students at Mountainland Technical College have the opportunity to apply for a tuition-only scholarship to advance their careers in welding.
This tuition-only scholarship is available to students who meet the following criteria:

✅ Eligibility Requirements
- Must be an adult student currently enrolled in the Welding Technology or Fabrication & Fitting program at MTECH
- Must have completed Intro 1 and at least 90 hours of instruction in their program
- Must be in their first attempt at the course (students retaking the course are not eligible)
- Must maintain 90% or higher progress and 85% or higher attendance
- Must be in good academic standing
- Must submit one letter of recommendation from a current instructor or program coordinator
- Must demonstrate financial need (self-reported income and household size; FAFSA not required)
