Use of privately-owned golf carts in the Bonita National Community requires registration and a permit issued by the Homeowners’ Association Annually. Golf cart owners must comply with the rules and regulations set forth at all times. For the purposes of this registration and acknowledgment, a golf cart is defined in Florida State Statute (FSS) 320.01 as: a motor vehicle that is designed and manufactured for operation on a golf course for sporting or recreational purposes and that is not capable of exceeding speeds of 20 miles per hour. If a member does not register their privately owned golf cart or have a valid permit decal fining may be implemented by the Master HOA.

Golf carts must be stored in a garage. Overnight parking in yards or on the street is prohibited. Golf cart operators shall obey all traffic laws and posted traffic signs

Insurance requirements:

To maintain annually, without interruption in coverage, liability insurance coverage on the operation of the private golf cart with policy limits at least equal to $250,000/$500,000 personal injury coverage per occurrence and $100,000 property damage per occurrence and coverage naming the Club as an additional interested party on the policy. Such insurance coverage shall also provide that at least thirty (30) days' written notice of cancellation will be provided to the Club. I further agree that I will not permit the use or operation of my golf cart by any person or in any manner which would invalidate the insurance coverage.

Acceptance

I certify that all information provided is true and correct. I have reviewed the Bonita National Community Association Private Golf Cart Rules and agree that the golf cart and all operators shall abide by these rules and in accordance with Florida laws governing the operation of golf carts. I assume full responsibility for the operation of my personal golf cart and agree to accept full responsibility for any liability that may arise from ownership and operation by myself or any individual operating my golf cart with my authorization. By signing this agreement, I acknowledge that I am responsible for the conduct and compliance of anyone driving my golf cart.

For first-time registrations: I agree to pay a one-time fee of $20 for this registration. I agree to provide a certificate of liability insurance and complete the registration form annually.
