  • Welcome to the Agri-Food Futures Scholarship application page! This scholarship was created by the SouthGrow Regional Initiative in 2019 to support local youth who want to pursue a career in the agri-food industry in southern Alberta.

SouthGrow is a regional economic development alliance of 29 communities in the south-central Alberta which is dedicated to opening new economic opportunities for the region and supporting the continued quality of life enjoyed by our citizens -- and we are excited to recognize students who are wanting to contribute to the agri-food industries.

Each year, we partner with community minded organizations to increase the impact the scholarship has on the post secondary journey of outstanding youth in the SouthGrow Region.
