  • By signing electronically, I agree that the information I have provided in this foster application is complete and correct. I understand that any false or misleading information will invalidate this and any future applications.

I further declare that I am financially and physically able to provide temporary care for a rescue animal. Into the Wild Farm will provide veterinary care and, when available, food and other approved supplies for foster animals. I understand that these resources are dependent upon availability and donations. If I am able to contribute food or other supplies during the foster period, it greatly supports the rescue’s ability to save more lives, but it is never required. I agree to provide a safe, loving environment and meet the daily care needs of my foster animal while it is in my care.

I understand and agree to maintain required identification tags and/or microchip registration provided by Into the Wild Farm, including verification with the assigned number. I understand the requirements and grant permission for Home Checks at random, both prior to and during the foster period.

I submit that if a Home Check reveals falsification, misrepresentation, or failure to meet foster requirements, Into the Wild Farm reserves the right to remove the animal from my premises without reimbursement of any expenses incurred.

I acknowledge that all animals placed with me by Into the Wild Farm remain the property of the organization until formally adopted through its process. I will not transfer, rehome, or make decisions on behalf of Into the Wild Farm regarding the foster animal without express written approval.

I understand that I am responsible for exercising reasonable care, sound judgment, and ordinary safety precautions while the foster animal is in my care and for complying with all instructions, restrictions, and safety requirements provided by Into the Wild Farm. To the fullest extent permitted by law, if the foster animal is injured, causes injury to any person or animal, or causes damage to property as a result of my negligence, gross negligence, reckless conduct, failure to exercise reasonable care, or failure to follow such instructions or restrictions, I agree to accept financial responsibility for the resulting losses, claims, and reasonable expenses. These expenses may include veterinary or medical treatment, repair or replacement of damaged property, and other costs directly arising from the incident. I further agree to reimburse and indemnify Into the Wild Farm for such expenses or third-party claims to the extent they result from my acts or omissions.

If pledges or donations are raised on behalf of the foster animal, Into the Wild Farm will make every reasonable effort to apply available pledged funds toward the animal’s needs and provide support as resources allow. However, I understand that pledged funds are not guaranteed and assistance will depend on availability.

I release Into the Wild Farm, its Board, volunteers, and representatives from any liability I may incur from the foster process or by the rescue animal while in my care.

If a foster animal dies in my care, I will notify Into the Wild Farm immediately (same day; within hours of discovery) by phone and written message. I will not dispose of or make aftercare arrangements for the body without ITWF's direction, and I will comply with ITWF's instructions for handling the remains. ITWF will arrange and cover reasonable, pre-approved aftercare costs so this is not an undue financial burden on me as a foster.
