  • About TUFC's NPL women and girls program

The NPL is the highest-level competition in the ACT. TUFC is building a high-performance women and girls' program to compete and thrive at this level. We are a large, community-focused club in Canberra's south. Our NPL program draws from our large junior base and attracts players from across the city and interstate. Aligned with our NPL program, we have a Skill Acquisition Program (SAP) for girls under 11 to under 13. This prepares girls for the high performance environment of NPLG and sets the foundations for success in the NPLW competition.
  • What it means to coach at TUFC

Coaches at TUFC are supported to develop and succeed as part of a structured, multidisciplinary team. Led by a Technical Director, coaches across the women and girls program work together to implement a cohesive playing style, a performance mindset and an inclusive community culture from u11s right through to NPLW First Grade. You will have access to experienced coaches (including A-licenced coaches with A-league experience) and opportunities to engage in mentoring, coach development and peer support. The coaching is supported by dedicated team managers, physios, an S&C coach, an NPLW/G coordinator, and our Board.TUFC has a vibrant community spirit. As one of our coaches, you will also be supported by volunteers from across the TUFC family. We value our coaches and seek their input on club direction. As a coach, you will have a chance to shape not only this program but this club both now and into the future.
  • Who we are looking for

We are looking for people who model professionalism and commitment -- and are ready to work with our players to develop and succeed in the ACT NPL. We are looking for a technical director and coaches who will drive a culture of high performance, intensity, development and fun across our girls (SAP for u11, u12 and u13; NPLG for u14s, u16s, u18s) program. The NPL women and girls program operates as a single program at TUFC -- players and coaches get to know and work alongside each other across the entire program. In return for your hard work and commitment, the Club is committed to providing mentoring opportunities, licensing support, and other development opportunities, to support your continuous improvement. Please complete the form below and if you would like to have a confidential discussion, please contact: Mat Byrne, 0401 714 959
