Fèis Mhòr | Big Fèis (P4 - S6)
Workshops in traditional instruments, song and dance. Participants choose from two of the below options:
- Fidheall | Fiddle (beginner & intermediate)
- Giotàr | Guitar (beginner & intermediate)
- Bogsa-ciùil | Accordion (beginner & intermediate)
- Faram | Percussion (beginner & intermediate)
- Clàrsach | Harp (beginner & intermediate)
- Fìdeag | Whistle (beginner & intermediate)
- Còmhlan-ciùil | Band (experienced players only, all instruments welcome). Participants can choose to attend Band all day
- Danna ceum | Step-dance (beginner)
- Iomain | Shinty (beginner)
- Cuairt na h-Aibhne | Walk the Gaelic Landscape (Please note: children must be accompanied by an adult - adults must buy a ticket here)
Instruments will be supplied if required
Ìrean | Levels:
- Beginner: you have never tried this before and would like to learn the basics
- Intermediate: you have a good grasp of the basics and can play/accompany/sing a few pieces at a steady pace

- Registration from 9am
- Welcome & Fèis Song - 9.30am - 10am
- Choice 1 - 10am - 12.15pm (incl. short break)
- Lunch - 12.15pm - 1.15pm
- Choice 2 - 1.15pm - 3.30pm (incl. short break)
- Informal Performance - 3.30pm - 4pm

Ticket includes free entry to the Family Ceilidh on Saturday night
Participants are required to pick two back up options in case of timetable clashes and class sizes. We will do our best to put participants in their first choices wherever possible.
Fèis Bheag | Wee Fèis (P1 - P3)
Fèis Bheag or ‘Wee Fèis’ offers a variety of music and arts activities for younger primary school pupils. Participants will experience different elements of our main Fèis event, giving them a fun and engaging taste of traditional music, song dance and art.

- Morning Session - 10am - 12.15pm
- Lunch - 12.15pm - 1.15pm
- Afternoon Session - 1.15pm - 3.30pm
- Informal Performance - 3.30pm - 4pm
Participants staying for full day must bring a packed lunch

Cròileagan | Playgroup (0-5)
(All children must be accompanied by a parent/carer)
A fun informal session or music and song for our youngest particiants. Games, arts & crafts, music, stories, rhymes and more! Why not join in the fun, sessions run by staff from Cròileagan Obar Pheallaidh.

All of our tutors are experienced, professional musicians, skilled in working with young people. We also have a pool of supervisors and volunteers who help our events run smoothly. Young people are supervised at all times and we work in accordance with Child Protection and Health & Safety Guidelines. Our staff are all members of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme administered by Disclosure Scotland.
We are committed to making traditional music accessible to all, to eliminate barriers to participation. We have a number of concessionary places available to participants who require support and may also be able to offer help towards transport costs .
