Elderly Christmas Sponsor Form

Again this year, in addition to our children's Christmas program, we have created a program that will assist our Perry County elders. We have coodinated with Perry County Office of Aging who will be providing us with information about elderly residents who could use a little love this Christmas. Most are "shut in", but we will be assisting in making sure that the love you share with them this Christmas makes it to their door.

If you would like to become an elder sponsor, please submit this form at your earliest convenience.

What is a sponsor?

We have all types of sponsors! Most are local, some are churches, other businesses, community groups, or individuals.

There are several ways you can help! You can personally shop for someone that the Office of Aging has referred to us. You may make a monetary donation towards the Elder Christmas program which Join Hands will use to shop for gifts. You can let us know how you wish to help on this application.

If you choose to do the shopping: once you submit this application, we will match you with a Perry County elderly resident, or residents (you may sponsor more than one!), depending on the preferences you submit on this application.

We will provide you with your elder's gender and their gift ideas via email.

Shop where ever you like, but please make sure gifts are new.

Shop at your convenience and drop the gifts off at our office anytime between November 3rd and December 4th.

Each person in our elder program is assigned a letter for confidentiality purposes. Please include this letter on their gifts when you drop them off at our office. PLEASE WRAP OR PROVIDE THE GIFTS IN A GIFT BAG.

If you choose to make a monetary donation which would enable Join Hands Ministry to shop for an unsponsored elder, you may send a check to our office, or give us a call for other options.
