RULES and INFORMATION
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Period dress is encouraged.
- Separate race for men and woman.
- Butler Race participants are given a tray with 2 plastic champagne flutes filled with water sitting on top.
- The tray must be carried by one hand underneath.
- Upon race commencement signal, the particpant runs a length of approximately 100 feet to a race finish position.
- There will be multiples of racers running simultaneously. Race officials will judge if races must be broken up into additional races to give enough room for racers.
- The best time of all racers is the grand prize winner.
- Champagne flutes must NOT tip over at any time while the racer carries them to the finish line on the tray. Once it falls, you are out of the race.
- Grand Prize Winner wins $100 cash. Second and Third Place times win $25 Park Theatre gift certificates.
- All decisions by race officials are final.
