Holiday Folk Fair International is the nation’s longest-running multicultural festival, celebrating the rich traditions, food, music, dance, and arts of cultures from around the world. For over 81 years, it has brought communities together to promote cultural understanding, friendship, and appreciation of global heritage.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering! Volunteers play an essential role in making this event possible.

Benefit: Volunteers who serve a minimum of 4 hours will receive 1 admission ticket valid for all 3 days of the festival. (Parking is not included.)

Age Requirement: Volunteers must be 13 years of age or older.

I understand that I am volunteering my time to support the Holiday Folk Fair International. I agree to arrive on time for my assigned shift(s) and to notify organizers promptly if my availability changes.

Waiver and Release of Liability
I, the undersigned volunteer, understand and acknowledge that by volunteering at the Holiday Folk Fair International (“the Event”), I am willingly participating in activities that may involve physical exertion, interaction with large crowds, and other inherent risks associated with public events.

In consideration of being permitted to volunteer, I agree to the following:

Minimum Age Requirement: I affirm that I am at least 13 years of age at the time of volunteering. Volunteers under the age of 18 must have this waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.

Assumption of Risk: I understand the nature of the Event and assume all risks associated with volunteering, including but not limited to injury, illness, property damage, or loss.
Release of Liability: I release, discharge, and hold harmless the International Institute of Wisconsin, Holiday Folk Fair International, State Fair Park, their directors, officers, employees, agents, and representatives from any claims, demands, damages, or liabilities arising from or related to my volunteer participation.
Medical Treatment: I consent to receive first aid or emergency medical care deemed necessary while volunteering. I understand that I am responsible for any medical costs incurred.
Unpaid Position: I acknowledge that my services are provided strictly on a volunteer basis, without expectation of compensation, benefits, or employment.
Conduct and Responsibility: I agree to follow all Event rules, safety guidelines, and instructions from Event staff. I understand that failure to do so may result in termination of my volunteer service.
Photo/Media Release:
I grant permission for my image, likeness, or voice to be used in Event-related photos, videos, or promotional materials without compensation.
