I understand that participation in the Tauranga Harbour Jam (The Event) involves sailing in open water on the harbour that is used by other members of the public and are aware of the hazards involved in that, and in windsurfing in general.
In my judgement I have sufficient confidence in my experience to participate safely in such an event.
I hereby release, exempt and indemnify the organisers, sponsors and other persons involved in the organisation of The Event, from all action, proceedings demands, costs, expenses, and claims made or taken by any person arising out of my/my child’s participation in The Event.
The Event organisers acknowledges that the information collected on this particular form will NOT be shared, given out, or divulged to a third party without the written consent of the Applicant.
Unless otherwise stated I give the organisers permission to contact me via email or mobile.
By submitting this form I accept that all images from The Event may be used for promotional purposes. Also I understand that the Copyright in all photographic works created remains the property of the Photographer.
All entrants must register, pay race fees and sign the entry form before 9:30 on the day of the event.
All racers must display unique number/symbol on their sails (tape will be supplied where necessary).
All entrants must be competent windsurfers in the prevailing conditions and be able to water start or feel comfortable uphauling in windy conditions. The Bronze Race Fleet will have extra support boats and crew to help learner sailors and ensure everyone's safety.

Race format and starting procedure to be covered during race briefing.
There will be time to rest between races and at scheduled breaks.
The Race officer’s decision is final, their decisions are based purely on safety, fun and encouraging participation.
Safety cover is only provided for the current race.
The Event organisers nor its officers, members or other persons assisting with the conduct of the event accept any responsibility in respect of any injury or loss to person or property that may be sustained by reason of participation in the event or howsoever arising in connection with The Event.
The Organisers reserve the right to change the rules and format.
