My Skills and Passions
Some people dream in pictures, some in ideas, I dream in structures. My brain loves to organise and solve complex problems in the real world. Here’s some ways I can help you:
- Unpacking: moving? We can help you unpack and set up your home to best serve your family’s needs and flow.
- Decluttering: overwhelmed by your stuff? We can assist in going through your items and responsibly rehoming items so your home works for you.
- Organizing: lost amongst your things? An organizing session can take you from overwhelmed to peaceful - know where your things are and have a system you can maintain moving forward.
- Decorating: have a box of decorations wanting to be seen? We can help to decorate your home in a way that reflects you and your personality.
- Yard Work: overgrown yard? We can assist in getting your outdoor space in order via weed pulling, light landscaping, and more.
- Newborn Home Help: little one on the way? We can set up your nursery, baby proof, and set up flow systems to ease in the early days.
- Little Projects Day: have an assortment of to dos? Give us a list and we’ll work through as many as we can from home decluttering, yard work, organization, home maintenance, and more.
- Business Organization: own a business and need some help? With a background in business administration in corporate and nonprofits, we can help with physical organization as well as administrative and workflow optimization.
As I am working through your home, I am happy to explain what I am doing and pass off my knowledge so you feel confident caring for your space. Sessions are typically three-hours long, longer sessions are available upon request. For larger scale projects, like entire home organization/decluttering, please set up a consultation walk through.
Additional Helping Hands skills:

- home improvement and repair: painting, flooring, winterproofing, small drywall and plaster repairs priced by consultation.

The Vision
So, I have a dream. This dream is too big to share just here, but I believe in a better world. I see how much our society is craving real connection, real living. We all want to thrive, and we all have different barriers to entering that. It’s not fair, but it can change.
How do we do that? First, we realize we are a WE. Our communities have so much potential just waiting to burst forth, and we get there by recognising we all have a unique role in our community. What ever your passion is, no matter how far away it feels like it is, how long it’s been since you considered it, how many things told you you couldn’t get there - the key to cracking apart the oppressive structures that hold us captive is to stop participating in them. Invest in your community, ask for help, give freely of your skills and passions.
Together, we can build a new world.
The Blueprint
So my business model is all based around giving. When we give freely of our skills and passions, our energy flows naturally, exactly where it is meant to be. Every week, I donate one session of my own time to a disabled or otherwise marginalized household. For every full session purchased, an additional free session is given to a household in need. I also welcome skill/resource trade bookings, as that is really the world we are aiming for!

Compensation
My business model is to make these services accessible for all, so you have some options!
- Standard Rate: $50 an hour for standard, non-labor intensive work. $70 an hour for labor intensive work.
- Pay What You Can: $25+ per hour
- Donated Session: One 3 hour session donated to individuals, families, and non-profits who express the need.
- Skill/Resource Trade: Booked based on need of skill/resources. Below are some skills and resources I am regularly looking for. There is a space on the booking form to fill out your offerings - be creative! Pitch me your passion!
- Massage
- Art
- Homemade clothes or otherwise funky attire
- Home remodeling//home repair
- Give a Session: $150 gives a free session to a household in need
Additional Helping Hands:
- Double the Hands: $150 for a three hour session.
- Handy-They: $50 an hour. Pay what you can options available - just ask!
Want to Gift a Session?
You can gift a session to a community member that has requested a donated session on top of my weekly donated session. Venmo, PayPal, or Cash App me with the payment memo of "Gift a Session" and specify the number you wish to give away, Gifted Sessions are $150 a piece. Cash is preferred for in person services.
