If a seminarian needs financial help he should first apply for grants or scholarships from the myriad of foundations, organizations and institutions offering this kind of assistance. If further assistance is needed or grants and scholarships are not available to the Seminarian, he should request assistance from the Diocesan Director of Seminarians so that the Diocese could assist him with a loan. Then, the seminarian agrees to repay the Diocesan loan one year after ordination or after leaving the Formation Program. The collection and terms of the payment will be set by the Diocesan Office of the Chief Financial Officer.

I understand the terms of this financial agreement and I commit myself to by them.
