World Sailing Measurer Clinic and National Measurer Application

Thank you for your interest in joining the World Sailing Measurer Clinic. Please fill out the application below which will be considered by the HKSF Race Management Committee at the close of applications. The application period shall run from 15 September to 12 October 2025.

The HKSF Race Management Committee shall use the following criteria when assessing candidates:

Meaningful volunteering experience. Prior experience in sail racing volunteer roles is valuable when considering a participant’s entry into the program. An applicant with previous recent volunteer experience in any one other HKSF volunteer program discipline (Judges and Umpires, Race Officer, Mark Laying and Safety Boat) will be prioritized over an applicant with no prior experience. However, to ensure a candidate’s ability to balance time and focus on the measurement program, applicants who are currently registered and/or are active in two or more HKSF volunteer programs may be prioritized lower than an individual only active in one.
Gender balance. World Sailing has requested a gender balance as far as possible.
International entries. World Sailing Clinics are open to candidates from neighboring regions.
The candidate is an HKSF member. Candidates must be a member of the HKSF. For those who are not already members, see the link to the HKSF website page - https://sailing.org.hk/join - completed membership application forms should be returned to the HKSF before 24 October 2025.

The HKSF Race Management Committee shall inform applicants as soon as possible after the close of applications. We may request further information via email.
