Yes. Please always ensure your dancers portal is up to date. This is where the teachers will look before taking photos or videos in class.

    https://app.classmanager.com/portal/moray-dance/login

If you are invited in to watch or participate in your dancers class you MUST ask for the teachers permission to take photos ano videos. Not every child and adult will have given consent and it is a safe guarding issue if photos and videas are taken. Please help us protect our dancers.

  • Q. Can I go into class with my dancer?
    A.
For all dancers in our Baby Ballet & Lil Tumblers classes grownups are invited to participate within the class.
For all other classes we try to encourage grownups to stay in the waiting area. However, if your dancer is new we fully understand and support you coming in within the first week or two to show encouragement. If after 5/10mis they are showing signs of being ready then you can slip out of the class and wait, hidden from view or go downstairs.

We have worked very hard with our dancers to ensure they feel comfortable, confident and safe at all times as this is our one of our primary priorities.

We ask that only one grownup goes in with each dancer, especially in our busier classes. We do understand that both parents/guardians would like to watch. A suggestion of one parent watching half the class and then swapping, or changing week by week is always a good compromise, especially if the classes are busy.
We are also encouraging siblings not to come along, although we understand this may not always be possible. Where siblings do come along please ensure they do not join in. It is not the teacher's responsibility to ensure this happens.

The upstairs gym area in Moray Sports Centre is for Members Only. Please do not to wait right outside the Studio doors.
