Education Course Reimbursement Application
Any member of IBEW Local 353 who wants to take a trade-developing course offered by another institution, and who wants the course fee reimbursed, can obtain pre-approval from the Education Department before registering. Alternately, members can complete a trade-developing course and send in a reimbursement application with the required documentation for consideration by the Education Department. There is a nine (9) month limit to apply for reimbursements. If there is a limiting time issue for receiving all documentation and submitting this application, please provide supporting documentation. Please complete the application form in full and send it with the required documentation.

1. The application must be completed in full.

2. Include a course outline, proof of payment and a proof of successful completion and/or attendance.

3. The course must be trade related as determined by the Education Department.

4. The application will be reimbursed when the following requirements are met:

a. Attend 80% of the course program

b. Successful completion

c. Any pre-exam course applicant must write and pass that specific exam and provide proof
(e.g. for a 309A pre-exam, please include a copy of your 309A license or STO Card)

5. There is a maximum of $500.00 per calendar year.
