Movements across the country are facing direct financial attacks—frozen accounts, debanking, chilling civil lawsuits, and targeted investigations—that threaten their survival. In response to a call to philanthropy endorsed by more than 50 frontline organizations, Muslims for Just Futures and the Peace Development Fund launched the Financial Futures Fund in May 2025 to provide emergency financial assistance, legal defense, and resilient infrastructure. This session will ground funders in the scale and urgency of these threats, show how movements are fortifying themselves against authoritarian repression, and make clear the distinct role philanthropy must play to safeguard financial access. The Advisory Committee of the Financial Futures Fund invites you to join us in learning about this work and exploring opportunities to support the financial resilience of our movements
