Acknowledgment of Risks

I acknowledge that participating in the Paint Pelham Pink 5K Run & Walk involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

Risk of falls, contact with other participants, and weather-related hazards;
Risks associated with uneven terrain, traffic, and conditions of the course;
Risks of dehydration, heat exhaustion, heart-related issues, or other physical injuries.

I understand that participation requires physical conditioning and that it is my responsibility to ensure I am medically fit to participate.

Waiver and Release

In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Paint Pelham Pink 5K Run & Walk, I, for myself, my heirs, executors, and assigns, hereby:

Release and discharge Pelham Main Street, Pelham Downtown Development Authority, the City of Pelham, their officers, directors, employees, volunteers, sponsors, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or causes of action arising out of my participation in this event, including those caused by negligence.

Assume full responsibility for any and all risks of bodily injury, illness, death, or property damage arising from or related to my participation.

Indemnify and hold harmless Pelham Main Street, Pelham Downtown Development Authority, the City of Pelham, and all related parties from any claim or demand resulting from my participation, including legal costs.

Medical Treatment Authorization

I authorize event organizers and medical personnel to secure emergency medical treatment for me if necessary, with the understanding that I am responsible for all related costs.

Photo/Media Release

I grant permission for my image, likeness, and voice to be photographed, recorded, or used in promotional materials related to this event without compensation.
