IcelandicxBFLxGotland Cross Breed Lamb's Woolen Batt, 8 ozCommercially milled woolen batts from an unusual cross breeding. Helios had Icelandic sire and a BFLxGotland mom. It was an accidental breeding that resulted in some amazing wool. First shearing lamb's wool. White/off white. When the mill raved about his wool, it's a breeding that I will be sure to strive for again in the future.

Fawn Mohair, Raw Fleece, 1 lbA little over one pound of light fawn mohair, staple length about 3.5 inches, from a young angora goat. This is a summer shear, meaning a finer fiber than the winter shear. I have not picked through or rinsed this fleece so there may be some vm or smaller locks inside.

BFL X Cheviot Lamb's wool, Raw Fleece, 2 lbsBluefaced Leicester x Cheviot lamb's white wool. This wool is a little on the short side at roughly 3 inches. There is a little vm (mostly pine needles) and not picked to reduce vm. It has been skirted and I rinsed it because I was trying to decide what to do with this wool. I enjoyed this crossing on my farm, but had to shear him a little early, hence the length. It's very soft with a pretty crimp.
