New Arkansas United Methodist Church Scholarship Application

For Arkansas UMC Churches attending OMP for the first or second time in the last 10 years or more. This scholarship is generously provided by the Methodist Foundation for Arkansas.
Application Deadline is April 1st.

To be eligible to receive this scholarship the applying group should be:
- In need of financial assistance to cover the cost of attending OMP.
- Attending OMP for the first or second time within the last 10 years.
- A United Methodist Church in Arkansas.
In addition, these scholarships are awarded based on need and availability of funds. Up to $3,000 is provided for first-year churches, and up to $1,500 is provided for second-year churches. By submitting this form you agree that you:
- Have need of the financial assistance from this scholarship.
- Will submit a reflection about the group OMP experience by August 15th.
The goal of this scholarship fund is to promote engagement from Arkansas United Methodist Churches with the meaningful mission experience of Ozark Mission Project. These funds provide staged support to get new groups involved.

I also agree to submit a reflection of my groups experience at OMP by August 15th should scholarship funds be awarded. Should my group receive scholarship funds and we are no longer able to attend, my group is responsible for returning all funds received.
