2026 Haunted Trails Volunteer Application

Hello!

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Fircrest Parks & Rec Haunted Trails. The 2026 Haunted Trails is on October 15th (Thursday) at Thelma Gilmur Park from 6:30-9:00 pm

We are recruiting volunteers interested in helping make this the best Haunted Trails to date!

PLEASE NOTE:

If you are easily frightened, this may NOT be the event for you.
Please plan to volunteer for the ENTIRE DURATION of the event. We are only accepting volunteers who are able to commit to the full time frame.

Here are your opportunities:

Setup: October 15th from 9:00 -2:00 pm
Guides: leading groups through the trails, spinning spooky stories and building suspense
Shift begins: 5:00 pm
Shift ends: 9:30 pm
Scare Team: getting in character and being a character in the scary scenes
Shift begins 5:00 pm
Shift ends: 9:30 pm
Tear down: October 15 from 8:45 - 10:00 pm

Please sign up below. Spaces are limited and will be filled as applications come in. If you are a high school or college student, you may be eligible to receive Community Service Hours for volunteering at this event.
