Integrity & Plagiarism Warning
At Divine Bible Institute and Seminary, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and spiritual accountability. Plagiarism—the act of presenting someone else's work, ideas, or words as your own without proper acknowledgment—is a serious violation of these principles.
All assignments, essays, projects, and exams must reflect the student's original thought, supported by properly cited sources where applicable. The use of artificial intelligence, copy-paste content, or unreferenced third-party material is strictly prohibited unless expressly permitted by the instructor.
Consequences of Plagiarism Include:
An automatic grade of “F” on the plagiarized assignment
Possible failure of the entire course
Academic probation or disciplinary review
Disqualification from honors or scholarship eligibility
Notification to the Academic Dean for repeated offenses
To Avoid Plagiarism:
Always cite your sources using approved formats
Use quotation marks for direct quotes
Paraphrase responsibly and give credit
When in doubt, ask your instructor
Educational integrity is not only a matter of Divine Bible Institute and Seminary policy—it is a matter of Christian character. We encourage all students to “study to shew thyself approved unto God” (2 Timothy 2:15 KJV) with honesty, diligence, and accountability.
