Model Release & Contract
Still Life Photography is the sole and exclusive owner of the copyright of each image taken during your photo shoot. You can not copy, scan, edit, crop, or alter the images in any way, for any purpose, including iPhone or Instagram filters.
I understand that the photographs taken of me during my session can be used wholly or in part for marketing, website, portfolio, competitions, etc.
I acknowledge that I am obtaining images for personal use only. No images can be used for commercial reasons, including marketing, advertising, or contest entries of any kind. If the need arises for commercial use of an image, I will contact Still Life Photography, and a commercial agreement can be arranged, though the photographer has no obligation to enter into such an agreement.
I have read this form carefully and fully understand its meanings and implications. I acknowledge that by signing this form, I give Still Life Photography full copyright and authority to publish the photographs and agree to the terms listed above.
All photographs are edited at the artistic discretion of the photographer, and said editing is included in the package cost. Additional editing will be an extra charge and may or may not be available depending on the photographer’s current workload. While most images are included in your photoshoot, not all images taken will be presented in the final product. Both parties agree to cheerful cooperation and communication before and during the photo shoot. While every attempt is made to create the best possible images, no particular photo can be guaranteed.
Photographs are delivered through an online gallery. Due to the custom nature of photography, all purchased products cannot be returned, and all money paid is non-refundable.
All final, edited images are archived for 12 months from the date of the photoshoot. After this period, the photographer deletes all images from backup hard drives. The photographer is not responsible for digital files once they are purchased and received. You are responsible for making backup copies of any digital files obtained and for keeping them in a safe place.
Still Life Photography takes the utmost care with respect to exposure, transportation, and processing the photographs. However, in the unlikely event that photographs have been lost, stolen, or destroyed through camera malfunction, damage in processing, lost in the mail, or otherwise damaged for reasons beyond Still Life Photography’s control, Still Life Photography’s liability is limited to the return of all payments received.
Any returned checks will incur a $25 fee in addition to the original cost of the purchase.
