  • Competition Procedures

Teeny Tiny Miss and Tiny Miss:

Each contestant will compete and be scored in the following categories:

    1. Personality Wear 50% of score

    2. Dressy Wear 50% of score

    Little Miss, and Young Miss:

Each contestant will compete and be scored in the following categories:

    1. On stage question 20% of score

Each contestant will be asked an age appropriate question on stage.

    2. Personality Wear 40% of score

    3. Dressy Wear 40% of score

For modeling, the judges will consider the child’s age as they look at:

Poise – walking, turning, standing, coordination and grace
Personality – attitude, confidence, energy and smile
Appearance – hair, dress, make-up (not too much, please) accessories (shoes, jewelry, fingernails, hair ornaments etc) The judges will not be judging the quality of clothing but how it is put together and how the child looks.

In the event of a tie the judges will consider the Dressy Wear score. If a winner still cannot be determined the judges will then consider the Personality score.

    Personality Wear-

Each contestant will model an outfit that reflects their personality or patriotic spirit. This may range from shorts to a dress or any age-appropriate attire that best represents who they are. Outfits should be tasteful and not overly revealing. Examples include a cute dress with cowgirl boots and accessories, or a patriotic-themed outfit that is stylish without being flashy or over the top.

    Dressy or Formal Wear-

Each contestant will be required to model in a dressy or formal dress. Please choose a dress that is age appropriate, must be an appropriate length. For Teeny Tiny and Tiny Miss a short dress is suggested. It does not have to be extravagant; a church or Easter dress will work.
