"Good News People In a Bad News World"

An opportunity to join with others from our church family across Cumbria and North Lancashire for a day to be equipped and empowered in sharing our faith with others. 

This is for everybody in a local church

There is a shift in our culture - people are increasingly open to the Gospel, young people are buying Bibles. There is a hunger for God and a desire in our society to reconnect with ancient Christian roots - it's time to be strengthened in our confidence in the Gospel and equipped to share with others, like never before in our life time.

 

Venue & Course Details.

Where: Beaconside School, (opposite 11 Eden Mount, Penrith. CA11 8HG)

When: Saturday 16th May 2026. Refreshements from 9:30am, prompt start 10am-4pm.

There will be tea and coffee available on the day, as there are no shops in the immediate vacinity (more than 10 minutes walk, involving a steep hill), we would strongly recommend bringing a packed lunch. We are trying to limit our environmental impact - so please bring your own lidded cup, for drinks.

There is mobility restricted parking only on the school site - as far as possible, please drop off and pick up at the school gates. Plenty of FREE parking on Pennine Way, (CA11 9ED), a 2 minute walk from the school. 

Please note there is no children's work provision at this event.

There is no charge for this course, but there will be opportunities to make a donation to contribute towards the work of the Christ Central: Cumbria and North Lancs Region.
