Raising up Christian athletes who boldly reflect Christ, compete with integrity, and live out the Gospel.

The following outlines the key requirements and expectations for all coaches serving with C.O.A.C.H. Athletics (CHA).

    Eligibility and Application Process

    Application:
All prospective coaches must submit a completed Coach’s Application and W-9 form. Incomplete applications will not be processed.

    Interview & Review:
The C.O.A.C.H. Athletics Managers will review each application, conduct an interview, and evaluate references as needed.

Applicants will be notified of the decision via the primary email address provided. C.O.A.C.H. reserves the right to deny any application at its discretion.
Background Check: For the safety and integrity of our student-athletes, all coaches must complete and pass a background check prior to beginning service.

Agreement to CHA Policy Manual: All coaches must agree to read, understand, and abide by the C.O.A.C.H. Athletics Policy Manual, including all expectations regarding conduct, communication, and leadership responsibilities.

    Continuation of Coaching Role
Performance & Conduct Review: At the conclusion of each season, coaches will be evaluated based on performance, adherence to organizational values, compliance with policies, and contribution to the program. Continued service is not guaranteed and is subject to this review.

Commitment to Mission: Coaches are expected to model Christlike character, uphold the ethos of C.O.A.C.H., and work in cooperation with organizational leadership to ensure a safe, supportive, and high-quality experience for all athletes.

    Participation Requirements
Attendance: Coaches must be punctual, reliable, and present at all scheduled practices, games, and events unless prior arrangements have been approved by leadership.

Safety Standards: Coaches must comply with all organizational safety measures, including background checks, reporting requirements, and adherence to policies protecting students.

Adherence to Policy: Coaches must consistently abide by the standards outlined in the CHA Policy Manual.

    Social Media & Digital Conduct
Coaches are held to a high standard as role models for student-athletes, both in word and deed. This standard extends to all forms of digital media and social platforms.

Public Representation: Social media accounts and digital communications must reflect the values of C.O.A.C.H. and set a positive example for athletes.

Personal Profiles: If a coach’s personal social media profile does not fully align with these expectations, it must be set to private. Coaches are encouraged to create a separate public profile for their role as a coach.

    Content Standards:
Inappropriate language, vulgar or suggestive images, or any content that does not reflect good character or align with biblical values is strictly prohibited.

Screening: Social media activity may be reviewed as part of the application and evaluation process.

Mentorship Role: Coaches are not just instructors—they are mentors. Online presence should affirm this responsibility by modeling Christlike character, integrity, and encouragement.

    Separation Policy
C.O.A.C.H. reserves the right to discontinue a coaching role at any time if a coach fails to meet expectations, violates policies, or is found to be inconsistent with the mission and values of the organization.
