A New Era of Excellence: The Maccabi FC Caulfield Stingers Initiative

At MFCC, we are committed to providing the ultimate environment for our young athletes to flourish. This is a program for both girls and boys, a place where ambition knows no gender.

We will focus on building the Stingers' identity from an early age, starting with the U10 age group in season 2026 and going up to U13. This is a long-term vision, not a short-term fix. We will create an environment where a player's determination and potential are what matter most. If a younger child demonstrates the "Stinger" spirit, they may be selected for an older age group if their own is not available, showing that talent and grit will always be rewarded.

What you can expect:

5 - 6 training sessions per fortnight in 2026.
A Stingers jacket and bag.
Current, or currently acquiring, C-License coaches at a minimum.

What we require from you:

A high level of committment.
A registration fee of $1250.00 for the whole program Nov '25 - Sept '26

If you think you have what it takes to become a Stinger then complete the EOI below and we will be in contact with details about trials etc.

Please note that there will only every be one Stingers team in any given age group.

Also note that if there are not enough Girls that have submitted EOIs to make up a Stingers team, then we can consider including the girls into a boys Stingers team, depending on skill levels and acceptance by the team and individuals.

The Stingers program in 2026 is focused on developing players who will be turning 9 to 13 years old during that year.

Underage Consideration: Children turning 8 or younger may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact Sam via email to inquire about an exception.

Maximum Age: We will not be forming teams for Under 14s (U14) or older in 2026, so children turning 14 or older are outside of this year's program scope.

Once expressions of interest (EOIs) have been sorted, we will notify you about the trials and/or training sessions. These will take place on four consecutive Wednesdays in November: the 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th, from 6:00 PM to 7:15 PM at Princes Park, Caulfield South.
