Mac & Cheese Challenge Reimbursement

As a pre-registered teacher for the Mac & Cheese Challenge, you are eligible for a reimbursement for cooking and food supply purchases. Use the Mac & Cheese Challenge webpage as a guide to the total amount you are eligible for reimbursement. Please submit pictures of receipts below.

Reminder! Sales tax cannot be reimbursed on your receipts.

Grocery items are not taxable, but non-grocery items like pans, spoons, aluminum foil, etc are taxable. We can reimburse for the non-grocery items, but not the sales tax charged for them. To avoid being charged tax, ask your school to use their tax exempt form when you purchase the items.

If sales tax is included on the receipt, it's not a problem - we will just process the payment for the total minus the sales tax.

Please note - to complete the reimbursement process you will receive an email from Cornell University's Payment Works system. It is essential to complete the instructions in that email. Failure to complete this step within 2 weeks will result in no reimbursement.
