An initiative of the Culture & Inclusion portfolio, Department of Medicine (DoM), University of Toronto.

WAM PLUS is an opportunity for all of us to come together and create a space for women and their allies in the DoM and beyond to share experiences, gain valuable skills, network and advocate for the development of strong women faculty members and leaders in Academic Medicine.

Launched in 2017, the summit has evolved through multiple iterations, offering faculty and trainees the opportunity to participate in workshops and engage with inspiring speakers and panelists, covering a range of vital topics—including leadership, wellness, mentorship, intersectionality, gender-inclusive practices, allyship, and advocacy.

In lieu of a registration fee, we ask that all non-trainee registrants make a gift to the Fund for the Advancement of Women in Academic Medicine. All donations will be acknowledged with an official tax receipt. Suggested donations to start at $50.
