Summit Awards - Unsung Hero
This award recognizes undergraduate students for their work "behind the scenes" to provide better programs and encourage active student organization. Unsung heroes do not hold major leadership positions in student groups, such as president, nor are they yet recognized by Who's Who Among Colleges and Universities. Students can be nominated by any faculty/staff or student at ETSU. This award is a surprise to the student selected. They are told they will receive an award, but not what the award is. Please help keep this a secret. The Student Organization Resource center will take care of inviting students and a guest to the annual Summit Awards Banquet, where the awards will be presented. This application must be submitted by Sunday, February 15, 2026 in order to be considered for this award. Award recipients will be acknowledged at the annual Summit Awards Reception.
