BC Family Hearing Resource Society (BCFHRS) has educational resources available for families to borrow.
We have a wide collection of books and materials for families raising young deaf and hard of hearing children. This includes educational books and materials for parents, and children’s books that can be helpful in nurturing early language and self-esteem.
We also have ASL iPads. These are equipped with a wide range of ASL stories and exercises, designed to help children and families learn ASL together through interactive storytelling experiences.
Borrowing arrangements:
Our books and materials can be picked up and returned from any of our centres. ASL iPads can be picked up and returned from our Surrey centre. For those unable to come to our centres, alternative delivery and collection arrangements can be made.
