Refundable Damage deposit of €1000.
As per NOR. Damage Deposit:
5.1 A damage deposit of €1000 is required for each team entry. Each team shall be liable for non-insured damage to boats or property up to a maximum of €700.
5.2 A cheque for €1000 made payable to RSGYC or credit card pre- authorisation shall be required at registration. This will be used to pay for damage to boats or to any property of the organisers that is not covered by the organising authority's insurance.
5.3 All collisions resulting in damage to a boat shall be brought to the attention of an umpire immediately by the person causing the damage and by the person sailing the damaged boat so that damage costs can be assessed and attributed.
5.4 If total damage attributed to a team is costed at more than the value of damage deposit held from that team, that team shall provide an additional cheque or credit card payment for €500 before being allowed to continue sailing.
5.5 Attributed damage costed at a total of more than €1500 may result in a team being excluded from further sailing in the event.
5.6 non-attributed damage costs will be divided equally between teams to the limit of the damage deposit.
