    Route 210 – Padgett-Hospital-Monkey Junction

  • We need your feedback! Your input will be used to decide if Route 210 will be changed. Any route or schedule changes that are approved will begin in 2026.

    Route 210 travels between Padgett Station and Monkey Junction while serving the hospital along the way. It is paired with Route 205 to provide 15-minute frequency between downtown and the hospital.

    Route 210 often runs late because of heavy traffic on 17th St and Carolina Beach Rd. To help it run every 30 minutes and stay on time all day, route or schedule changes are needed.

    Options include shortening the route  all of the time or only certain days or changing the schedule to decrease the frequency (how many trips are provided within a day).

    Options that may improve the services include:

    • Shorten the route for all trips, all times, every day of the week. St Andrews Dr would be the new end of the route. Route 210 would not travel to Monkey Junction.
    • Shorten the route for all weekday trips but still provide service to Monkey Junction on weekends.
    • Add time to each trip so the bus can still serve Monkey Junction all day, every day of the week, but lose the 15-minute frequency between downtown and the hospital.
