    Memberships must be submitted and paid in full before any points will accumulate for each rider. Memberships are NOT retroactive.

  • Family membership will include all unmarried immediate family members under the age of 22, living in the same household.

    Children must be under 22 years of age
    All members must live in the same household
    Immediate family does not include grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandchildren, etc.

    NOTE: Memberships for members 15 years old & under must be accompanied by a copy of their birth certificate

  • Please provide the following information for each member:

    • Full Name
    • Birthdate
    • Age (Age is determined as of January 1st of the current year)

    T-shirt sizes and horse blanket sizes are required for year-end awards. If there are any changes, please notify us before the last show of the season.

    Before purchasing your number, please make sure it has not already been purchased.

    👉List of 2025 back numbers - These numbers will only be available if member who had in 2025 does not re-purchase this number prior to first show. 

    >If uncertain of horse's name, please put Horse #1, #2, etc, and then update EMHA Board via email prior to first show with horse's name that will be affiliated with that specific back number<

    EMHA may contact you if there are duplicate back numbers and request you choose another back number.

    **Each horse/rider combination will need back number**(2026)

    The cost is:
    $5 for a standard back number (2 copies)
    $10 for a laminated back number (2 copies)

  • Goodells County Park Rules for Equestrians

    1. Horses MUST be kept away from the Community Center & Concession Stand. No horse is allowed on the sidewalks and grass area adjacent to the Community Center & Concession Stand.

    2. Horse trailers must be parked in the gravel parking lot located west of the Community Center. ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING IS ALLOWED ON ANY LANES – ESPECIALLY THE CIRCLE DRIVE AROUND THE BARNS! Fire lanes MUST be kept clear. Vehicles and trailers may not be parked in or adjacent to fire lanes.

    3. Horses may be dropped off or picked up on the lane in front of the horse barns or walked from the designated trailer parking areas directly to the rings or barns. Horses MUST use the designated horse crossing area located near the park entrance.

    4. Horses are NOT permitted to be ridden within the park, except in the rings and warm-up areas.

    5. In the barns, all manure and bedding MUST be cleaned up with a manure fork and placed in the manure pit. Scoop shovels are NOT allowed to be used to clean stalls.

    6. Show arena and all stalls must be cleaned after each use. Manure must be removed from all paved parking areas, pathways, and horse wash stations. Failure to remove manure from these areas will result in a $100/per hour cleaning fee.

    7. Manure may be left in the rings and the grass areas immediately adjacent to the rings (Does NOT include the hill).

    8. ABSOLUTELY NO LUNGING is allowed in Ring #1 (Red Judge's Barn). Use of Ring #1 is limited to warm-ups and competition events only. It is not available for practice and will remain locked unless it is rented.

    9. Lunging is only allowed in the grass area by the gravel parking lot.

    The Eastern Michigan Horseman's Association and show hosts will not accept responsibility for the loss of, damage to, or injury to any exhibitor, any equine exhibited, or the possessions of any exhibitor—whether the result of accident or any other cause. It is distinctly understood that every equine at these shows is in the care, custody, and control of its owner, handler, or rider for the entire time the equine is on the premises. Applications are accepted only under these conditions.
