RAW 96.9 Indie Artist Submission Agreement
By submitting music to RAW 96.9 (“the Station”), you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
1. Ownership & Rights
You confirm that you own the music you are submitting OR have full legal rights and permissions to submit it.
Submissions containing uncleared samples, copyrighted works, or stolen material are strictly prohibited.
RAW 96.9 does not claim ownership of your music. You retain full copyright at all times.
2. License to RAW 96.9
By submitting, you grant RAW 96.9 a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
Broadcast and stream your music on RAW 96.9 and its platforms (radio stream, app, website).
Use portions of your music, name, and artwork for promotions, advertisements, and social media tied to RAW 96.9.
Archive and re-broadcast your music at a later date (e.g., special features, anniversary rotations).
This license remains in effect unless you formally request removal of your music in writing.
3. Sample Clearance
You certify that any samples or third-party content included in your submission are cleared for use.
If unlicensed samples are used, you accept full responsibility for any legal action. RAW 96.9 is not liable for unlicensed material.
4. Royalties & Payments
Submission does not entitle you to direct payment from RAW 96.9. Royalties generated are handled through your performing rights organization (BMI, ASCAP, SESAC, SoundExchange, etc.) where applicable. For indie artist features and special programs run by RAW 96.9, royalty payouts (if applicable) may be calculated and distributed by the Station on a semi-annual basis.
5. Programming Decisions
Submission does not guarantee airplay. All music is reviewed by the Station Manager for approval.
Music may be rejected for reasons including quality, content, or format.
Explicit songs must be clearly labeled. Clean/radio-friendly versions are strongly encouraged.
Accepted file formats: MP3 or WAV.
6. Liability & Legal Compliance
You agree that RAW 96.9 is not responsible for disputes regarding ownership, samples, or third-party content.
Any claims arising from your submission are your sole responsibility.
RAW 96.9 operates as an internet radio station and will comply with applicable licensing requirements.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement in writing.
Termination does not affect past broadcasts or royalties earned before termination.
8. Confirmation
By signing/submitting, you confirm that:
You have read and understand this agreement.
You own or have cleared all rights to the submitted content.
You agree to the royalty terms, content standards, and promotion policy outlined above.
