    SECTION 1 - POSITION & COMPENSATION

    1. Employment Status - This is a part-time, independent contractor role. The Company will provide no benefits other than wages. Driver will receive a Form 1099 for services rendered.

    2. Application Requirement - Driver must complete and sign a Driver Application before beginning any assignments.

    3. Payment of Wages - The Company will issue payment once the Company vehicle (or authorized rental/personal vehicle) has been returned and all crates have been properly cleaned and inspected.

    4. Route-Based Pay Agreement - Compensation for each transport route shall be agreed upon by the Driver and Route Coordinator prior to the start of transport. If additional pick-ups or drop-offs are added to the route after the agreement is set, the Driver shall receive extra compensation for those added services.

    5. Wage Deductions for Sanitation - If crates remain dirty following Company inspection, wages may be subject to deduction.

    SECTION 2 - ANIMAL WELFARE & CARE

    6. Animal Welfare Act (AWA) Compliance - Driver shall comply with all applicable USDA/APHIS Animal Welfare Act (AWA) regulations.

    7. Health Certificates & Documentation - Driver must ensure all transported pets have the required Certificates of Veterinary Inspection (CVI), vaccination documentation, and any state or federal documentation.

    8. Animal Care Standards - Driver must provide proper care and shall not allow pets to sit in waste.

    9. In-Transit Sanitation - Driver must clean crates immediately if pets soil them during transport.

    10. No Abandonment Policy - Under no circumstances may pets be abandoned.

    11. Veterinary Emergencies - Driver shall seek veterinary care if pets show signs of illness, injury, or distress and notify the Company immediately.

  • 12. Compatibility & Number of Animals per Crate - Driver shall only transport compatible animals together per federal regulations.

    13. Restraints & Secure Crates - All animals must be transported in secured crates that are stabilized in the vehicle.

    14. Environmental Conditions - Driver shall monitor temperature, ventilation, and weather conditions to ensure pet safety.

    SECTION 3 - COMMUNICATION & PROFESSIONALISM

    15. Client Updates - Driver must update clients every five (5) hours via phone or text regarding estimated arrival times.

    16. Photo Documentation - Driver shall take pictures of pets and create a group message including the Company, breeder, and pet owner.

    17. Excessive Client Contact - Excessive communication must be redirected to the Route Coordinator.

    18. Post-Route Contact Restriction - Driver shall not contact Company clients after completion of a route.

    19. Professional Conduct - Driver must remain courteous and professional with all clients.

    20. Mask Requirement - Driver shall wear a mask during pick-up and drop-off interactions with clients.

    SECTION 4 - VEHICLE & LOGISTICS

    21. Vehicle Cleanliness & Inspection - Driver shall keep the Company or rental vehicle clean. Inspect exterior before transport.

    22. Mileage & Expense Logs - Driver must maintain a mileage log and record all gas, food, and miscellaneous expenses with receipts.

    23. Fuel Documentation - All fuel purchases must include date, time, and amount on the log.

    24. Traffic Violations - Driver is responsible for all traffic citations and must notify the Route Coordinator immediately.

  • SECTION 5 - CONDUCT & COMPANY POLICIES

  • 25. Confidentiality - Driver shall not disclose or post Company/client information on social media.

    26. Compensation Confidentiality - Driver shall not discuss pay rates with other employees or contractors.

    27. Employee Misconduct Reporting - Driver shall report any misconduct that could harm the reputation of GroundSky Pet Transportation.

    28. Prohibited Substances - Driver shall not consume or possess illegal substances, narcotics, or alcohol while performing duties.

  • SECTION 6 - IDENTIFICATION & COMPLIANCE

  • 29. Identification Requirement - Driver must provide valid ID (passport or birth certificate Driver attests to having no warrants or criminal record.

    30. Licensing & Insurance - Driver acknowledges Company maintains required licenses and insurance. Driver agrees to present documentation to authorities upon request.

    31. Independent Contractor Status - Driver acknowledges they are an independent contractor, not an employee, partner, or agent of the Company. Driver is responsible for taxes, insurance, and obligations related to compensation received.

    32. Indemnification & Liability - Driver agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GroundSky Pet Transportation, LLC, its officers, directors, and agents against all claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from Driver's negligence, misconduct, or breach of this Agreement.

  • 33. Limitation of Company Liability - GroundSky Pet Transportation, LLC shall not be held liable for injury, illness, or death of pets due to pre-existing conditions, improper documentation, acts of God, or circumstances beyond Company control.

    34. Confidentiality & Non-Solicitation - Driver shall not solicit, contract, or accept business directly from Company clients for twelve (12) months after termination of this Agreement. Driver shall keep client lists, pricing, and Company practices confidential.

    35. Dispute Resolution - Any dispute arising from this Agreement shall be resolved through binding arbitration in the Company's principal state/county of operation under the American Arbitration Association rules.
