  • Equal Opportunity Enrollment

    Participation in INCS enrollment is based on parental or legal guardian choice. INCS enrolls students without discrimination based on race, color, ethnicity, national origin, religion, income level, sexual orientation, disability, proficiency in English, or academic ability.

    All eligible students who submit a timely application during the open enrollment period will be enrolled unless applications exceed capacity, in which case enrollment preferences and a lottery will be instituted in accordance with Tennessee Code Annotated (T.C.A.) §49-13-113 and State Board Rule 0520-14-01-.04.

  • Enrollment Eligibility & Preferences

  • This section includes two important parts of the enrollment process: ELIGIBILITY & PREFERENCES.

    Eligibility: These questions confirm whether your child is eligible to attend Invictus Nashville Charter School.

    (These are required questions and must be answered for every applicant.)

    Enrollment Priorities / Preferences: These are optional questions that will help determine if your child qualifies for certain enrollment preferences that may give them priority placement if a lottery is needed.

    (You don’t have to answer these, but doing so may help your child qualify for a preference.)

    • PART ONE: Eligibility
    • PART ONE: Eligibility (Required)

      To verify your student’s eligibility for enrollment, please confirm your residential address as shown below.  You will be required to provide documentation as proof that you reside at this address ( or another Davidson county address) before your child is able to fully register in August.

    • ADDRESS PROVIDED:

    • {homeAddress}

    • PART TWO: Preference / Priority Questionaire
    • PART TWO: Preference / Priority Questionaire (Optional - but recommended)

      Some students may qualify for an enrollment preference under Tennessee Code § 49-13-113.
      Answering these questions helps determine if your student is eligible for priority consideration in the event of a lottery.

      Preference categories may include:

      • Children of Invictus staff or governing board members

      • Siblings of currently enrolled Invictus students

      • Students who are economically disadvantaged or participate in qualifying assistance programs

    • Economically Disadvantaged Enrollment Preference
    • Economically Disadvantaged Enrollment Preference

      At Invictus Nashville Charter School, some students may qualify for an economically disadvantaged enrollment preference under state law. This preference helps ensure equitable access to our school when a lottery is required.

    • How We Identify "Economically Disadvantaged" Preference Eligibility

      All families will automatically be screened through the Tennessee state database to identify students (or families) who are currently enrolled in one or more of the following programs:

      * SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program)
      * TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families)
      * Foster Care System

      If your student appears on one of these state lists, they will automatically be identified as meeting the criteria for this preference.

    • If your student is not determined eligible through one of the programs above, families may still qualify through other channels. If you believe your family meets the definition of economically disadvantaged but that status is not reflected here, please provide 1–2 sentences explaining why you believe your family should qualify.
