Bridal Makeup Contract

This contract is entered into by and between Paintedbycallie’s makeup artistry business “makeup artist” and (client’s name) “client.” The services listed are agreed to take place as of “effective date.”

Makeup artist agrees to provide professional makeup services to client for the following event scheduled to take place on (event date) at (event location). Makeup artist will take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety and well being of the client. Makeup artist cannot be held responsible for any allergic reactions or complications from the makeup or makeup application.

A non refundable deposit of $100 is to be paid the day of signing the contract to secure the booking date. This cost also covers the required makeup trial which will be determined and set after the contract is signed and payment is made. Required makeup trials will be booked Fridays starting at 10am or 1pm. The remaining balance for the bridal party makeup and/or additional fees may be paid with CashApp, Venmo, check, or cash on the day of the wedding. Bridal makeup on the wedding day is $120. Bridesmaids makeup and mother’s makeup is $100. Flower girls makeup is $40.

In the event the client cancels services, the deposit is non refundable. If the client cancels less than 30 days before a scheduled wedding date, the client is responsible for the full payment of agreed upon services. If the makeup artistry is unable to provide the agreed upon services, the makeup artistry will make reasonable efforts to find a replacement. If a replacement cannot be found, the client will receive full refund of any payments made.

Client understands the following. 1 hour and 30 minutes is needed for getting bridal makeup done on the wedding day. Bridal party members makeup should take no more 45 minutes unless agreed upon for a longer, more complex, makeup application. Flower girl makeup is light and customizable for preference. For weddings that require set up to start before 7am, there will be an Early Bird Fee of $50/hour. For travel requirement over 5 miles from artists place of departure, a travel fee of $1.50/mile will be applied, round trip. Any delay longer than 30 minutes, there will be a Late Start Fee of $25. Utilizing the Sapphire Salon space will be an additional fee. Touch up kits are included for the whole bridal party included the in the cost of each makeup application. Upon reviewing complete Bridal Makeup Inquiry form, makeup artist will determine if a second makeup artist will be required to achieve the established goals of the wedding day.

Is it recommended to get a dermaplaning service done with an aesthetician before your wedding day as it makes the skin look more soft and flawless with makeup applications. It is also good prep to do a lip scrub and lip mask for a few days before the wedding day. If you can assign someone to answer any questions and take care of bridal needs during the time of makeup application, this ensures for the bride to have a relaxing moment and smoother application.
