Join Crip Book Club!
Welcome to the Crip Book Club (CBC)! CBC is made by and for disabled people, but we welcome ANYONE eager to connect and learn about disability justice through books. By rooting ourselves in Disability Justice, CBC aims to build a community centered around the needs and perspectives of disabled folks. Disability Justice promotes an understanding of disability that is complex, whole, and interconnected. One that integrates how the power, privilege, and differing axes of marginalization influence disability under Capitalism. Through the power of books, we will learn to broaden our understanding of Disability Justice, to move together in a world that wants to divide and disempower us, and to find home within each other.
