(hereinafter referred to as HUNTER) has been given permission to hunt deer within approved hunting zones upon community property within HVL solely for the purpose of bow hunting for deer for purposes of culling subject to all laws, rules and regulations applicable to the 2025-2026 HVL POA Deer Management Program Bow Hunting, Deer Culling Rules and the State of Indiana hunting laws.
HUNTER acknowledges and understands that no warranty, either expressed or implied, is made by the HVL POA as to the condition of community property within HVL. HUNTER acknowledges that hunting on property such as community property within HVL does have unknown hazards and risks and can result in injury or property damage to the person/persons involved in these activities. The many possibilities and sources of injury or damage are acknowledged by HUNTER, and he/she comes on community property within HVL full knowledge that hazards and risks exist.
As a part of the consideration for being allowed by the HVL POA to participate in deer culling activities on community property within HVL, HUNTER HEREBY INDEMNIFIES (RELEASES) the HVL POA from all liability for personal injury (including wrongful death) or property damage suffered by HUNTER which is caused, in whole are in part, by any activity or condition on community property within HVL. HUNTER understands this agreement and has agreed that neither he/she, nor his/her heirs or personal representatives shall be able to sue the HVL POA, its directors, officers, employees, and agents for any injury or property damage that HUNTER suffers while on the community property within
As a part of the consideration for being allowed by the HVL POA to participate in deer culling activities on community property within HVL, HUNTER HEREBY AGREES that under no circumstances shall a person of less than eighteen (18) years of age become a participant in HUNTER'S deer culling activities."
HUNTER acknowledges and understands that the 2025-2026 HVL POA Deer Management Program may include private personal property as part of the approved hunting zone to which he/she is assigned to cull deer. HUNTER HEREBY INDEMNIFIES (RELEASES) the private property owner from all liability for personal injury (including wrongful death) or property damage suffered by HUNTER, which is caused, in whole are in part, by any activity or condition on private personal property.
Acknowledgment of Understanding: I have read this waiver of liability and indemnity agreement, fully understand its terms, and understand that I am giving up substantial rights, including my right to sue. I acknowledge that I am signing the agreement freely and voluntarily and intend by my signature to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law.
