    On October 16 you have the opportunity to join a round table with three international experts: Sabine Bubeck-Paaz, Monica Lăzurean-Gorgan and Gayatri Parameswaran. 
    During these 1-hour-long meetings, you will have the chance to talk with the following experts and ask them questions to gain a deeper insight in their field of expertise.

    Sabine Bubeck-Paaz // 15:00-16:00Sabine Bubeck-Paaz is Senior Commissioning Editor at ZDF, Germany’s public broadcaster, working on ARTE’s cultural documentary slots. She co-produces 52-minute and feature-length films across themes such as visual arts, music, cinema, and society. Her recent titles include Hidden Letters, Obsessed by Light, and Call Me Dancer. Many of her international co-productions have won awards, with some—like The Act of Killing, The Look of Silence, and Spectres of Shoah—earning Oscar nominations.

    Monica Lăzurean-Gorgan // 16:15-17:15Monica Lazurean-Gorgan is a producer, director, and member of AMPAS and EFA. She produced Acasa, My Home (Sundance Cinematography Award), was delegate producer for Touch Me Not, and co-produced Chuck Norris vs Communism. As a director, her credits include A Mere Breath (Best Doc at Sarajevo IFF and CEE Vienna IFF) and Wood, co-directed and premiered at HotDocs and CPH:DOX 2020.

    Gayatri Parameswaran // 17:30-18:30Gayatri Parameswaran is an Emmy®-nominated, Peabody-winning writer, director, and producer of immersive works. Co-founder of NowHere Media in Berlin, her work explores the intersection of storytelling, technology, and social impact. Her projects have been showcased at festivals like Venice, Tribeca, SXSW, IDFA, and Cannes, and have won awards including the Tribeca Storyscapes Award and SXSW Best Use of Immersive Arts. She is a Sundance New Frontier alumna and guest lectures at institutions such as FU Berlin, HMKW, Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, and ZHdK.
