BANGOR BOROUGH HALLOWEEN PARADE VOLUNTEER WAIVER OF LIABILITY

**PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING**
In consideration of being allowed to participate as a volunteer in the Bangor Borough Halloween Parade (the "Event"), organized by Bangor Borough in Pennsylvania, I, the undersigned, hereby acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. **Volunteer Role:** I understand and agree that I am volunteering my services for the Event, and I agree to perform the duties and responsibilities assigned to me by the Event organizers to the best of my ability.
2. **Assumption of Risk:** I understand that my participation in the Event may involve physical activities and may expose me to certain risks and hazards. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or any other loss that I may sustain.
3. **Release and Waiver:** In consideration of being allowed to participate in the Event, I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby release and discharge Bangor Borough, its officers, employees, agents, volunteers, and all other parties involved in the organization and execution of the Event (collectively referred to as the "Released Parties"), from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, actions, or causes of action, whether at law or in equity, arising out of or in connection with my participation in the Event, including but not limited to claims for personal injury, property damage, or any other loss.
4. **Insurance:** I understand that I am solely responsible for providing my own insurance coverage for any injuries or losses I may incur while participating in the Event.
5. **Medical Treatment:** In the event of injury or illness during my participation in the Event, I authorize the Event organizers and their representatives to seek and obtain medical treatment on my behalf if they believe it is necessary. I understand that I am responsible for all costs associated with any medical treatment received.
6. **Photography and Likeness:** I grant permission to the Event organizers to take photographs, video recordings, or other media of me during my participation in the Event, and I consent to the use of such media for promotional and marketing purposes.
7. **Compliance with Rules:** I agree to comply with all rules, regulations, and instructions provided by the Event organizers and to conduct myself in a safe and responsible manner throughout the Event.
8. **Severability:** If any provision of this waiver of liability is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. If any provision is held invalid, such provision shall be modified and interpreted to the extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable consistent with the intent of the parties.
I HAVE READ THIS WAIVER OF LIABILITY FORM AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENTS. I AM AWARE THAT BY SIGNING THIS FORM, I AM GIVING UP CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT HOLD LIABLE, BANGOR BOROUGH OR ITS AGENTS, EMPLOYEES, OR VOLUNTEERS FOR ANY INJURIES OR LOSSES I MAY INCUR DURING THE EVENT.
