The NextGen in Action: Rethinking Democracy, Making Things Happen
In times of uncertainty, with democracies under attack from within and from the outside, with low trust in the democratic system and its capacity to deliver to citizens, young people are not waiting in the sidelines. Young leaders from around the world are already leading the way to reimagine democracy in their own countries and context. But can they work together to tackle the challenges to democracy at a global scale? Join us as you make your way to Vitoria-Gasteiz for drinks and food with new friends. Young leaders from around the world will share their stories and efforts, and we will discuss the first two Democracy Labs on Getting into Politics and Making Democracy Accessible. Date: Monday October 6 | Start Time: 5:30 PM | End Time: 7:30 PM Location: La Fundacion San Prudencio, Eduardo Dato Kalea 43, 01005 Vitoria-Gasteiz, Araba, Spain Organizers: The Governance Action Hub, Freedom Studio, Vera Files, Hansen Beck, and the Polity Track Initiative.
