Budget Pay
Our Budget Pay Program is designed to give you consistent monthly bills and eliminate seasonalfluctuations in your gas charges.
How It Works
We calculate your monthly payment by reviewing your past 12 months of gas usage and estimatingyour annual cost. If your form is submitted after June, the duration will be adjusted accordingly. Thisamount is then divided into equal monthly payments. IGU may periodically review your account tocompare actual usage with the budgeted amount. If a change is necessary, we will contact you.
- New customers: If you haven’t used gas for 12 months, we’ll estimate your usage based onaverage consumption.
During the warmer months, you may accumulate a credit balance, which will help offset your higher gasusage in winter.
At the End of the Budget Pay period. The program runs from June 1 to May 31.
- Any remaining balance will be applied to your May statement, increasing your balance due.
- Any credit balance will be applied to future charges on your account.
- We will recalculate your budget pay each June and provide you with your new budget payamount for the following year.
Important Notes
- A separate agreement is required for each location on your account.
- Your account must be in good standing to participate, and you cannot be delinquent.
- Budget Pay will auto-renew each year until you notify us to cancel.
