Code of Conduct fir Athlete and Spectators:
For the purpose of this code of conduct, spectators will be defined as any individual who is in attendance at the game. This document does not differentiate between parents, fans, or individuals who are participating in the game.
MBA Expects all Athletes and Spectators to adhere to these guidelines:
1. Spectators are at games to support, encourage and set good examples for ALL players.
2. Spectators are to respect the players, teammates, and fellow spectators. As well as the players, spectators, and coaches from the opposing team.
3. Spectators are to respect officials and score-table during games. If a concern comes to your attention there are proper channels to express those concerns. NO spectator will approach, yell at, belittle, step onto the court, approach the score-table, or follow an official or volunteer before, during, or after a game.
4. Spectators will not coach or officiate from the stands.
5. Spectators will not demonstrate threatening, verbal, physical, or abusive behavior towards ANYONE before, during, or after the game.
6. Spectators will respect all facilities.
7. Spectators will report any perceived misconduct by a coach, player, parent, or official through proper channels. Report first to coach, gym supervisors, which will notify league director.
8. Coaches are held responsible for parent/fan behavior.
The Following discipline will be followed if necessary:
1. Spectators will be asked to leave the gym by gym supervisor and will NOT be allowed to return the rest of the day; and may be barred from attending future games if behavior warrants.
I hereby release, waiver, discharge and covenant not to sue (MBA) Manny's Basketball, and staff, all schools within Jackson county school district, sponsors, including by not limited to PNTDA and Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc (irrespective of whether they specifically identified) and their officers, shareholder, directors, agents, for damages for death, personal injury and/or property damage which any participant, his/her personal representatives, heirs, next-of-kin, assigns and insurers may have, or which may hereafter accrue, as a result of such participant's participation in the league, or any event hosted by MBA. If any attention is required for illness or injury, I give my permission to any staff member for such care. I certify that my child is in good health and able to participate in all activities.
