Join us for the Rosebuds Parent–Child Program, meeting weekly on Fridays from 9:00–11:00 am, October 17 through December 12 (no session November 28) for children ages 1.5 to 3.5.

Each morning will follow a gentle rhythm of a nature walk, circle time, a warm and nourishing snack indoors, a puppet story, and guidance for parents from experienced Waldorf early childhood educator Mary Knighton.

This program offers a wonderful opportunity to connect with other parents of young children and to share community during the darker, colder months of the year.

Caretakers (nannies, grandparents, close family members taking care of the child) are welcome to attend in place of a parent!

I acknowledge that while the program is designed to be safe and supervised, there are inherent risks involved in any physical activity. By signing this form, I agree to the following: Assumption of Risk: I accept and assume all risks associated with participation in the program, including minor injuries or accidents. Release of Liability: I release and hold harmless Whidbey Island Waldorf School, its staff, volunteers, and representatives from any claims, damages, or injuries arising out of participation in this program, except in cases of gross negligence. Medical Authorization: In case of an emergency, I authorize program staff to seek medical attention for my child if I cannot be reached immediately.Photo/Video Consent (optional): I grant permission for photos or videos of my child participating in the program to be used for school publications or social media.
